Cherating, On The Way Breakfast
On the way to Cherating, we took the Gambang exit from the East Coast Highway. According to the information obtained from the Cari Forum, this is a nearer route.
Gambang exit - Kuantan - Cherating
* The exits of the East Coast Highway (Lebuhraya Pantai Timur) consist of: Karak, Lanchang, Temerloh, Chenor, Maran, Sri Jaya, Gambang, Kuantan.
On the way to Kuantan, there is a signboard to Cherating. Not long after making the left turn, we saw a sign of a Bak Kut Teh (Pork Bone Soup) shop, saying it’s 1km ahead. Its business hours start from 8am.
Without thinking much, we decided to take our breakfast there. It’s kinda funny to come from Selangor and savour Klang Bak Kut Teh in Pahang.
Anyway, it was a right choice.
The shop we visited.
The prices are okay. Bak Kut Teh noodle is available at RM3.80 per person. It’s reckoned to be nice since the owner cooks nice soup.
(* You can click on the image for a larger version) This is very crispy. You may feel it’s nicer to eat just like this without dipping it into the soup.
You can select between normal rice (RM0.70) and yam rice (RM1.00) for your meal.
We requested for more lettuce.
Hmm, feeling hungry?
