It's a holiday season again.

The traffic this morning was extraordinarily smooth! It's expected to be the same next week!

A lot of people are taking leaves today and next week, but I will still be working. I don't have lotsa leaves to clear! My only 4 days are to be carried forward to next year.

During this season, I always recall the memories of driving and camping along the east coast of Australia together with Yen, Sam and Tiong in 2005.

The accommodation booking for my trip to Chiangmai in January is confirmed today. This makes me feel the trip is just around the corner (in fact it really is)! Am yet to finish reading all info in hand, as this is my very first single (by myself) backpack trip in Asia. I've gotta hurry up!

BTW, the other to-dos include:

1. renew my passport
2. purchase a new backpack
3. apply leaves
4. get some Thai Bahts
5. purchase travel insurance

Looked at some backpacks yesterday. Wow, they are sooooo expensive here in KL/Selangor. The three bought in Penang years ago (for myself, Danny and Feng) were much cheaper!

Last but not least, I'm finishing up my China posts. The last one is a big series, hence taking me long! It's somewhere claimed to be the most beautiful village in China, where we like the most! Stay tuned ~

I've been to Thailand in 2002, for Bangkok and Pattaya. This will be my second visit to the country.

Am feeling excited even just thinking about it :P

If you have any tips, feel free to share with me :)

My parents just came back from their trip to Chiangmai and Chiangrai. The scenery is breathtaking. Be sure to try the elephant ride.
