WuYuan - Cai Hong Qiao
Three Short Notes:
1. Have to continue posting my WuYuan series. I'm too productive till old ones are kept for long.
2. My new passport has an easy-to-remember but shitty number. Feel like wanna scold CK for mentioning the number to me last week.
3. Can't understand those people who add strangers as friends on Facebook. You will never get my approval. Sorry!
因为彩虹桥，所以我们到了清华镇。
彩虹桥建于南宋，至今已有800年历史，是古徽州最具历史价值的廊桥，也是中国古代廊桥史上的绝版。
关于彩虹桥的由来还有一段传说（取自乡村婺源网）：
当年清华村有一位出家的和尚胡济祥与一位能人胡永班，想为清华人建一座永久性的桥。在桥即将竣工、封盖最后几片瓦时，正是傍晚时分。西边的山背上出现了一道亮丽的彩虹，夕阳透过云层，倒映水中，构成了一幅美丽的图画。
当时胡济祥、胡永班见到此景，认为这是吉兆，立即叫村里人燃放爆竹庆贺，将桥取名为彩虹桥。后人为了纪念二位先人，在中间亭子设立了神龛，以示永世不忘。此外，桥上还写有“两水夹明镜，双桥落彩虹”的对联。
身在这如诗如画的山里水乡，令人遐想无比。
景区附近还有稻田，我们因此和一头日出而作，日落而息的老水牛相遇。彩虹桥被称为保存最完整、设计最科学的一座廊桥。经历了800多年，它依然完整、古朴、厚重、沉淀感强。
彩虹桥的美学，是婺源人运用山水文化的集中表现。桥的防洪体系设计体现了古代婺源人的智慧，木制部分的设计充分反映了“越简单实用，越容易传承延续”的哲理思想。

彩虹桥全长140米，由六亭、五廊构成长廊式人行桥。
每墩上都建一个亭，墩之间的跨度部分称为廊。从远处看，亭略高于廊，显得错落有致。
傍晚时分，有人在湖边浣纱、洗澡、玩乐，也有售卖香瓜的大嫂们。
我们也买了几个香瓜晚上吃，味道还不错，蛮甜的。
有人说，花钱来彩虹桥并不值得（门票20元），还是回到那四个字：见仁见智。
黑夜即将来临，我们也带着疲惫的身躯离开彩虹桥，前往更漂亮的理坑，结束当天的旅程。

A reply to your short note 2. Hehe... I never remember my passport number. You know our IC number has 4 digit at the back. Mine has a meaning---tak senonoh if the numbers are read in cantonese. Hehe...
I love your photos. Especially the 1st one with the long bridge. You know, I only like to take other people's or scenery photos rather then snapping a photo of myself. Hehe...
I didn't remember too.. but now.. it has rooted in my memory without me really remembering it.
We snapped a lot of scenery photos too until forgot about putting ourselves in the images. The driver (cum tour guide) cound't get used to this and played the role in always reminding us :)
