Last Day of CNY Visit
Note: He warned me not to write, then I MUST do it.
Things have turned out to be unexpectedly surprising today.
Me, together with another girl, "accidentally" visited a guy's home with lots of his relatives there, inclusive of the ever-mentioned his mum, his sis and his auntie.
Both of us were feeling don't-know-how. Previously, due to the need to wait for some time, we suggested to visit his house, coz as I know, there are not many people in his family.
Once entering his aunt's house, everyone was very friendly, welcoming our arrival. I was a bit worried that they'd think too much. Therefore, I quickly took a chance to tell his sis:
I never expect to have any Yee Sang tossing or eating this year. Who knows that happened there!! Besides, both of us, the visitors, got 4 angpows consecutively. This also never happens to me, at least in this year.

We stayed there only for a short while. When we left, he said he is not used to bringing friend home. That means, none of his previous girlfriends have got such an honor to meet his family. I could see he was a little uneasy. His skill of serving guests and introducing us to his family is worse than mine, honestly.
Don't be angry. The fact is always not so nice to hear.
The visit to one's new house during this festive season has been planned long ago. We arrived, he called the person, asking for the unit, but listened wrongly. We stupidly went to the wrong block, pressed the wrong doorbell, and claimed, why don't you open the door for us?
We realized the error only after making another phone call.
Felt like want to kick him down into the swimming pool and throw all the brought mandarins at him!!
I prayed in heart that nothing bad happens to the "mistakenly gone" unit tonight, else three of us would be the suspects, and there is my thumb print on the doorbell.
However, it was a great night, having lotsa chatting and slight reminiscence with the visited ex-ex-colleague. BTW, 50 otak-otak migrated to our stomachs.
Nice to be crazy sometimes, then I feel I'm still young :)

(pointing at another girl) This is his colleague, and I'm his ex-colleague.

we just had our lou sang on the 3rd night while all the family member arrived.... we did this every year and this is the year that everyone is under one roof for the first time... :)
ya .. right.... it is weird to have the rest of relatives in the house when u r paying a visit to ur fren.... and u will feel uneasy.. not only urself but the host.... especially the house is not a big one....
family affairs are not so common for me, so always feel awkward with big family :) however, he told me funny stories about his mum, and we tasted lotsa delicious food made by his aunt before.
so it's also nice to meet them, finally :)
