After ox-carting and an incomplete elephant show (we then got refunded for that), it was the turn for bamboo rafting.
This lorry transported the bamboo raft from the ending point back to the starting point.
Sitting like this for 50 minutes tortured me to certain level. At the end of journey, I was actually standing.
A group photo was taken before the session started. On the way, we saw few houses on trees.
Prepared to get your bottom wet during the trip down the jungle river? In fact that can be avoided by paying little attention to the water.
We also saw some elephants enjoying their bath time... and tourists were watching and taking their photos.
Standing close to the elephants, touching and smelling them...
I'm sure for the westerns, a "pure sitting" trip is kinda boring to them.
A lady from the raft (probably the boy's mum) asked around if swimming suit was sold... they might have thought that it's a thrilling adventure.
The little boy was given a chance to try steering the raft.
Though slow, we really couldn't request much, as it's entirely men effort to make us proceed. They got tired too.
An uncle came towards us to sell beverages.
A pretty rafter.
After that, we went back to the starting point to get our car, by following the lorry that transported the rafts.
Overall, the typically touristy Safari was "just so". I found it hard to write, coz everything was nicely arranged, no chance for much unforgettable memories. That's also the reason for a simple series to be completed only now (almost 1 month since the first post).
However, the pictures show you what we went through along the safari.
