Adrian is one of the friends I made via blogging. That day, I read a post titled Introduction from him.
It's about how he met, started conversation and offered help to a stranger, who is currently homeless. It's just a simple click for me to go over and read, why is one homeless now?
The first post was on 1st April 2008. However, it doesn't look like he's making fun of anyone. When I read, I could feel the sadness and disappointment, as well as his urgent need for help. He went through the best time of his life, nonetheless, he's in the totally opposite situation at this moment.
Today, he posted the story about how he knew Adrian at Starbucks, and how both of them became friends. It matches with how Adrian elaborated before, which he had no chance to read about.

I do not know Adrian personally, and of course the homeless person as well. I was asking myself after reading the "Introduction" written by Adrian, how long haven't I lent my hand to a stranger? Luckily I always do that, just maybe it's not a long-term one - it started and ended on the spot.
The blog is named as The Journey of the Homeless, and there are currently 4 posts:
The past and the present
Getting cash & living as a nomad, nowadays
Met his ex together with another guy
Special thanks to Adrian
Honestly, I feel his writing is very good. Seems like things just flow out into words very smoothly.
Everyone undergoes ups and downs in life. Let's try our best in helping someone in need, apart from learning his valuable experiences.

Yea, his writing is pretty good! Hard to believe that someone capable like him is having a such tough time.
Anyway, Glad to hear that you are is blogging about it too!
I'm starting to like the blogosphere abit better than last time.
i had read his blog from 3point8 post too. ya, his down time is really a hard time for him. luckily he is strong enough to face all the problem.
suddenly come in my mind is if it is a drama script, it would be so touching.:)
Well. Just trying to help as much as I can. There are a lot to be learned from his experience. Hopefully things will be better for him soon.
Hey, thanks for the link. I am grateful to see that there are so many people take notice about it. He is someone very independent and he has gone through hell.
I was in awe after reading his blog. I mean, he can write well. For that, I am sure he will attract readers from all over the world.
From the brief conversation with him, I know that he will bounce back real soon. He just needs a little push to get started, and I am doing what I can to help.
Anyway, some work is in pipeline and hopefully good things will come soon.
Reading the comments from 3point8's blog and the messages left at his chatterbox, the expected things already came out - where people doubt the credibility of the homeless person.
This is expected. Really. I was just waiting to see that happens :)
Am not sure why. Till this moment I still feel I don't wrongly trust someone or something, even though I'm not interested in finding out the questions asked by those who claimed he's a liar.
It's an intuition. I can only say so. And why one is still interested to blog while being in such a bad situation? Don't you know when you have no one to talk to, writing is the best exit?
some of their questions/comments:

MEI: HOMELESS GUY STARTED HIS BLOG ON 1ST APRIL ... IT'S AN APRIL FOOL'S DAY JOKE LAH ......... I DOUBT HIS STORY ....
naomi: do you believe a homeless guy has a car? it said "I declined his kindness, and I was about to go towards my car."

I personally don't believe that this homeless guy is really in troubles. In fact, he shouldn't be even blogging if he was really on a hot fire. People who got themselve into deep troubles won't have time for all these.
And he has got all his limbs? Instead of helping him, why not help the others who are really in need of help much more than him? Like those orphans? Those amputated children due to sheer cruelty?
I am sorry, but I don't think he deserves.
Coincidentally Adrian and The Homeless guy broke up with their GFs.
Coincidentally Adrian and The Homeless guy both has a dog.
Coincidentally Adrian and the Homeless guy both live in an apartment.
I don't know. I was just comparing both blogs. Even if he's real or not, get a life.
let's see. the fact will be known, sooner or later.
Actually I understand why those people doubt the credibility and validity of the blog. This is life, you can't expect everyone to follow you since the world is full of lies. Nevertheless, both Adrian and the author of the blog are gambling with their dignity, pride and credibility should everything so far is being fabricated intentionally, even if it's just a first-day-of-April joke. Right now I prefer trusting them. =)
A nice one colorfulworld. I used to have twice "almost homeless" experiences. however i was lucky to finally get somewhere, not having to stay on the street.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
This is my thought:
"Even if its a sick joke, its still a good blog to be brought to attention the to blogoshpere as this guy can really write! I love his way of writing."
Its even better if its a true story.
I always take this stand in life. If people are in trouble or tell you about their past life we should listen. Even if its not true it would not really effect us since we won't be the one helping anyway. At least if it does turn out to be true we won't regret being too critical on someone's situation.
Wow. So now I used to live in an apartment and have a dog also become a "coincidence"? LoL
I know a lot of people with dogs. I know a lot of people live in apartment with dogs. In fact, 3 couples broke up during this period of time. So now what do you make of it?
In fact, right now I am living in a house, a terrace house.
i'm glad seeing him already taken the steps to get a job, though failure is pretty common. wish him luck, and everyone here with good will.
again, i really feel comfortable reading his writing :)
the last thing, history always repeats, at different time, on different people.
Well... uhmm... my gut feeling told me that this "Homeless" is just someone who is really good at creative writing. I'm not saying he's a liar, but his story could be partly true and partly false. His story is so well structured, so much so that I wonder if this really happens in reality. It looks more like a drama. Anyway, assuming that he does exist, he has MANY CHOICES to go back to normal life. He has a Master's Degree. He writes well. My company is hiring writers.
hey haan... Glad to see that you are so supportive to lend homeless guy a help. I nver fail to see u offering help in his blog. Just want to let u know that You are one very beautiful person...
3point8, your compliment is too huge for me! those knowing me personally will surely disagree with your saying, esp the word "beautiful".
i have perhaps over-estimated myself that i can be very helpful to others :)
