Having some time to snap few pictures of the locals is always my wish. Because some people might feel that's a rude thing to do, I could only do it from far distance, using just a 18-55mm lens.

Sometimes, due to the worry that my action might result in negative implications, I prefer to shoot from a moving vehicle.

You can't deny that there are good models among the Pakistanis, though a bit cool.

Some are truly, unexpectedly sensitive to your shutter. They would quickly smile for the photo.

The kids also have big eyes.

They are very religious, unlike me, always think about money only.

Most of them wear the full traditional suit, called "shalwar kameez".

Though the job can easily get them dirty, they still wear the shalwar kameez in white or light colour.

Riding on bicycle is quite prevalent here. I used to see some teenagers rode will with his full energy in between the big vehicles, just like having a race with those engine-powered lorries.

Quite some places are very securely guarded.

This is the version with gun.

Not only helping you to shine the shoes, they are also very sensitive with any broken shoes. I experienced myself on the last day when my left shoe was having problems.

Last but not least, on the busy roads, people are selling stuff to make their living. This is exactly the same as in Indonesia.

The Indonesia version.

The Pakistan version.

We don't have such scenario in Malaysia. Can we be regarded as the luckier ones?

You can see the same scenes in India as well!

In these countries poverty is visible, where as here in Malaysia it is invisible. Hence, in a way we can consider to be "lucky":)
