This post is dated back to end of July, when we flew over to Jakarta for a project kickoff meeting.
This is quite a special thing for me, as this is a new product, and I follow-up the case since beginning till now. The sense of belonging is pretty strong. When others ask me questions, I know the twists and turns as well as the histories.
The feeling of knowing is good.
However, the meeting was held at Anyer. Hence, after reaching Jakarta at night, we met up with the local colleague and a sales guy from Singapore. After dinner, we departed for Anyer.
When we arrived, it was already after 12am.
No longer staying at Kartika Candra this round! This is Sol Elite Marbella, a five-star hotel in Anyer, West Java.
Couldn't wait to sleep on it... but still... shower first.

FYI, from Jakarta, Anyer is located opposite to all other popular destinations, such as Bandung. The green dot indicates where it is.
No one knew about it, except the Indonesian colleague. When I proudly told others its location (it has been my habit to check out a place before I go), my boss teased me that shouldn't I spend the time to write the specifications?? Nonetheless, I knew he was joking.
We took about 2 hours to arrive, going through highway that was not so smooth. Before reaching, we passed by a lot of industrial areas. It's kinda hard to imagine, how could a seaside for holiday is just side-by-side with these factories??
Woke up on the next morning, feeling very satisfied (I was sick just before catching the flight). It was a sunny day. I assumed it would be a good day.
Met with boss to finalize the presentation slides, then went for breakfast together.
As usual, both of us were the earliest among others.
The restaurant was nice. But talking about food, nowhere offers better breakfast than my hometown.
After I finished my breakfast and the men were still having theirs, I left to take some photographs around.

Basically, we stayed here for 2 nights. It was a good stay. The only bad thing was, NO INTERNET.
