Thoughts due to the Moon
The mooncake festival this year falls on 14 Sept 2008, which is today.
Originally, I should be in Krabi at the moment, then the trip was canceled. As a result, I came back to hometown as usual.
Thinking of mooncake festival, I could remember few in the previous years.
2003 - My mum went over to Australia, bringing over some mooncakes. That night, my good friends came over to my place, had mooncakes and wine together. I remembered my housemate Katherine was surprised and excited seeing those in the Hello Kitty shape.
2005 - Prior to the actual day, I bought some mooncakes back to Toowoomba, while presenting myself at the wedding registration of Samantha and Yen. On the day of mooncake festival, I took a walk at the Chatswood Chinatown after work. Mooncakes were sold at discounted prices since the day.
2007 - Had a celebration in the office. Now I thought of Reno.. coz of the nice chocolate mooncakes by his auntie. Then I started to think, was I good enough and how have I changed after quitting the previous job? The answer is YES. Looking back at the posts of Sept 2007, that was a period full of sadness for me. I keep telling myself - the past cannot be forgotten, but can be let go. However, I'm unsure how good have I handled that.
Am having something to tell my friends. If you feel you need to find some side topics to start a conversation with me, please don't call me (the same applies to messenger chats). Or else, you can call me but please be straight to the point.
I don't like to waste my time answering some unimportant questions and only be revealed with the actual objective. You need not to act in front of me. If you think it's not nice to be straightforward, that means we are not that close. Most probably I will say NO to your request or invitation.
