Haan in Phnom Penh
Arrival | Second Day | Khmer Borane | Haan in PP | One-Day Visit | Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum
Last night, I chatted online till late... This morning, I again woke up early, coz I've promised the Tuk Tuk driver to meet him at 7:30am (local time).
Was so tired... motions were slow... hence went for breakfast only around 7:20am, but my eating speed could be very fast :)
At Wat Phnom. They were like so close with me oh~ One even "automatically" sat on my lap. They didn't know I'm a bad girl!
In short, I visited Wat Phnom ($1), Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda ($6.25), Tuolsleng Genocide Museum ($2), Russian Market, Sorya Shopping Centre and Central Market. Spent some time standing near the roadside, waited and shot my "victims" too. Also bought something from the market. Actually sometimes I enjoy the process of bargaining instead of the item itself :P
Though one of the problems of traveling alone is, hard to have yourself in the photo... with my killing smile and polite request, it's very hard for others to reject me... not only helping me to take photos, people also requested for a photo together :P
Somewhere nearby the Silver Pagoda.
Before leaving Tuolsleng Genocide Museum, which was originally a school. Visit this is enough.. no need to go to Killing Field anymore.
The photos with me inside are truly limited. You know, asking unknown people to shoot for you, you can't request and complain too much. My friends are always tortured by my many requirements on photo shooting. Sorry!
After dinner around 6pm, I stay in the hotel till now. Want to sleep long tonight. Going to airport only at 9am tomorrow. Malaysia, I'm coming back!
