Tried yogurt coffee in Hanoi 2 weeks ago (huh, 2 weeks have swiftly passed!!), then Houng left me blog comments, telling me how to prepare it.
I decided to try it out this weekend. Therefore, on Saturday, I went to supermarket to get the necessary.
Bought some yogurt and condensed milk. Honestly, it has been quite long that I don't have condensed milk at home. When I was young, I had condensed milk together with Milo. Nowadays, I like thick Milo by itself.
I wanted to get yogurt of the original flavour, which means, no fruits inside. But I couldn't get any. So I bought 4, two strawberry-flavoured yogurt, and another two consist of mixed fruits.
The other important element is coffee.
I bought few types of coffee back from Hanoi to share with colleagues, inclusive of 3-in-1, 2-in-1 and this "1-in-1". I kept 2 packs of this small pure coffee powder for my mum to try. Supposed it should not have much difference with filtered coffee.
I personally assume that the coffee should be very thick (the typical Vietnamese style). When it's mixed with the thick sourness of yogurt and the thick sweetness of condensed milk, that's it what made me feel it's delicious!!!
Anyway, all these are just my own assumptions and the so-called "logical thinking" (and my logic is so good that I quit to be a programmer :P).
I made 2 glasses. One for my mum, and one for myself. Looks quite professional, right?
(choosing the glasses that look nice is also an important factor towards the direction of professional, hehe)
Stir it before you drink. This is the final outcome. Eventually, add in some ice cubes, then you can taste it.
How was it?
For myself, I felt the coffee was like not thick enough, and the yogurt was not sour enough.
"Still not thick enough?" this is my mum's response to my saying. She also said why I always learn the weird things.
I will try again next time, hopefully can get original-flavour yogurt.

coffee lassi, sour drinks with coffee flavour should be quite interesting drinks.
If the glasses don't have the "Anchor Ice" logo, they would look more professional! haha :-)
