Babi Guling, Ubud
Apart from Bebek Bengil, the other food most people recommend to try in Ubud is Babi Guling. In English, it's called "suckling pig".
There are Babi Guling all over Bali, but the most famous one is Ibu Oka.
Yes, IBU OKA.

It was a day that I just recovered from a fever. The day before, I had purely plain bread as my meals.
I was still not 100% fit, but I did not want to waste time to sleep in Dewi Ayu. I wanted to go out ride motorcycle, walk around, shoot photographs, savor tasty food and have fun!!!
We went there during lunch time, before the place got crowded.
We managed to find a place and sit down. The staff was busy serving the large amounts of customers.
Again, sorry to say, I actually did not find this suckling pig very delicious. It's TOOOOO oily. After awhile, I actually felt uncomfortable. This could be due to my illness on the day before. My stomach was not ready for the input of oily stuff.
Normally, when I ate roasted pork in Malaysia, I also prefer the least commonly-favorable part, where the parts are too "dry" (ie not much oily).
Also, we ordered 2 different sets, but we could hardly find out what is the difference. Vege, pork, pig's skin, the "inside parts" of pig, rice, soup. Both were the same!
When Wooi Yee paid for the meal, the staff insisted that we ordered 3 plates and wanted us to pay more (in fact we got another empty plate and shared the 2 sets among three of us). We are smart travelers. We will not cheat people, and similarly, will not pay the money which we are not supposed to pay.
I will not come back again, due to the food, and the service.

The menu.
My jeruk panas (hot orange juice) in the middle.
You see the big piece of pig's skin?
The still a little sickish me.
Three of us ordered 2 only. Luckily we ordered only two :P Couldn't finish, ya know!
My travel mates, Min and Wooi Yee.
If I were to describe it with 1 word, the word will be OILY.

wow.... baby guling... i miss it much =p though a bit oily XD
曾经看过介绍这食物的电视节目。我看到那猪皮,真的不敢恭维。烧肉我不介意,但是我只吃瘦肉那部分。
fufu, u have a lot of quota for oily food.
kun, i'm the same, i only prefer the "skinny" part... else will feel very guilty..
