It's 9 Nov 2009 today. Am home alone after all people left for Gold Coast. Tomorrow, Sam and kids will fly back to Malaysia. Boss will come back to Toowoomba.
After the kids left, I breathed a sigh of relief. But I think when I'm alone, I might miss the time they recalled my existence periodically, and yelled "haan"... haha, another contradiction of mine.
Today, I live like a housewife. Vacuum the house, mopped the floor, settled rounds of laundry... and the heavy rain arrived... sigh... Anyway, I enjoyed the quietness, peacefulness and loneliness, where I could sit down and concentrate on what I wish to do.
At about 6pm, my 6-year friend, Zel came to my place after work. Monday and Thursday nights are his "free nights". Last Thursday, we went dinner at Coffee Club, shopping and paid a quick visit to his house (my first time there). Today, he again suggested to have dinner together, but is of home-made style.

Steam fish like this..

Rendang chicken. At the back, that is the fried rice with red, yellow, green colours!!

Steamed tomyam fish.
Many years ago, I used to go to his place every Sunday noon, to make, cook and eat noodles together. Pretty crazy. He's not younger than me, but his mind is very lively, optimistic and happy. Very different from me, right?
After that, we went to the Coles in K-Mart Plaza, coz I wished to buy margarine. While we were there, I met the other blogger, Christina (a pretty girl from Penang), for the first time. I knew her via reading her blog which writes a lot about USQ. She knows boss too. Last Friday, boss and I went to the recreation center for badminton. I thought I'd meet her there, but the badminton session was canceled due to some functions.
Today, finally I got to meet her. She knew I would come, but didn't remember the exact date.
After K-Mart, we went to the Bunnings Warehouse. After staying few years in Toowoomba, Zel is now having planting vegetables as his hobby (I say him, "you are very uncle nowadays"). Despite the cold weather, he asked me go and look at the plants together with him. Finally he bought a papaya to grow at home.
Later, I turned on my laptop for him to browse my NZ photos. This uncle impersonated me to chat with my friends via my MSN account. I hereby apologize to Thiam Teck, Kiah Ling, Surface, Chris, Norman. He was jealous why Norman (our university mate) prompted me but never ever chat with him online :P
While we were in the car, Zel said, he likes to live together with a lot of people. I said, I'm different, I don't like. He wonders won't I feel lonely. In fact, when I get online, I could chat with a lot of people at the same time, without having to talk.
Co-incidentally, right after talking about that, he had the chance to experience my "chatting life" :)
Just that when he asked me, why all the people prompted you on MSN are guys???? This question... I don't really know how to answer. Maybe that's just the time the girls are away from MSN.
